Estate Planning Legal Assistant (1467426) Fort Lauderdale, Florida A Fort Lauderdale law firm isseeking an organized, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to jointheir growing Estate Planning and Trust Administration practice. Experience Level: Mid-level (3 years + preferred) Document Production: Draft and proofread foundational estate planning packages, including Wills, Revocable Living Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Healthcare Directives. Trust Funding: Prepare real estate deeds, change-of-beneficiary forms, and asset transfer letters to ensure client trusts are fully and accurately funded. Signing Execution: Assemble final document portfolios, coordinate formal signing meetings, and serve as a witness or notary public. Client & Practice Management Client Intake: Conduct initial screening calls, schedule consultations, and manage the onboarding for new estate clients. Communication: Serve as a proactive, empathetic point of contact for clients, beneficiaries, and outside financial advisors. File & Deadline Mastery: Maintain digital client files, track critical tax and court deadlines, and manage attorney calendars.
