Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for Community Medical Center. Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. A Day in the Life of a Clinical Care Tech (Video Link Below) Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. BLS required.(American Heart Association) Preferred Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred. Certified nursing assistant preferred. Clerical experience to include typing and filing preferred Scheduling Requirements Evening Shift Essential Functions The CCT is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients including phlebotomy and EKG's. Assists the Director of Patient Care and the staff nurses by performing specific clerical functions for assigned areas, Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient’s care Participating in collaboration of our patient's plan of care from ad mission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
