Visionist is bidding on an upcoming PRIME contract and in anticipation of award were seeking Junior Database Engineers to join our team at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington DC. You will advance the future of maritime domain awareness by enhancing global ship tracking systems. Youll leverage state-of-the-art analytics multi-INT fusion and cutting-edge technologies to detect and disrupt illicit activities at seaincluding smuggling trafficking illegal fishing and waste dumpingwhile also preventing terrorism securing global commerce and strengthening U.S. homeland defense. Your contributions are
- Design develop test install and maintain complex software systems primarily for Multi-INT processing
- Develop and maintain technical/user documentation and provide system training and orientation
- Apply structured and object-oriented programming using modern software development tools
- Collaborate with development teams across the software development lifecycle
- Design enterprise architectures and database systems for ground-based analysis platforms
- Implement system information modeling BPM workflow processes and web-based solutions
- Build and manage databases for storing raw data and Multi-INT fusion products for warfighter dissemination
- Monitor and manage project budgets schedules and financial data to ensure compliance with government requirements
- Maintain MS Access databases to support financial tracking and reporting

Requirements for your new career
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline.
- 2 years of experience in database engineering
- Strong experience in both structured and object-oriented software development
- Proficiency with enterprise architecture and database design for complex systems
- Experience with business process modeling and web-based development techniques
- Ability to manage budgets financial tracking and project scheduling tools
- Knowledge of Multi-INT data processing sensor technologies and surveillance methodologies
- Familiarity with MS Access and government fiscal compliance requirements

Salary range: $75000 - $150000
