Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other technologists to ensure optimum patient care
• Prepare imaging equipment, maintain sterile field, and ensure all safety protocols are followed
• Evaluate images for quality and seek clarification on ambiguous orders
• Document patient history and procedure details electronically
• Offer support and reassurance to patients before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain continuing education to stay current with best practices

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT (R) certification; IR certification preferred
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for radiologic technology
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Proven ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a changing clinical setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• BLS certification required
