Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, employee entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions through clear and timely reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
