The role operates on a full-day schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, providing both structure and the satisfaction of helping students succeed.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid TOSD (Teacher of Students with Disabilities) certification
• Experience working with high school students with a variety of disabilities
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong classroom management techniques
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with general education staff, support staff, and families
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Passion for fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction aligned with students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching techniques to accommodate diverse learning needs
• Assess students’ progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and external service providers
• Foster a safe, nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth
