Research Health Science Specialist

Research Health Science Specialist
Duties for the Research Health Science Specialist include, but are not limited to the following:
- Investigating a broad range of areas such as occupational infection control, occupational epidemiology, toxicology, biology, biostatistics and industrial hygiene.
- Reviewing and evaluating comments and evidence submitted in response to Requests For Information, proposed rules, and other stakeholder engagement.
- Developing proposed and final regulatory text and supporting analyses for safety and health standards.
- Participating in interagency committees to represent OSHA and workplace safety and health issues.
- Developing written guidance documents to assist employers and employees in understanding the provisions of new or current standards or hazards.
