Engineer – Enterprise Monitoring and Automation Lake Mary, Florida Direct Hire, Full-time Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 per year Responsibilities Design, implement, and support monitoring solutions and tools for a large complex financial services environment. Identify improvements to current infrastructure tools, alerts, and processes to efficiently deliver business goals. Provide technical design and leadership to integrate both open‑source and commercial software solutions into the enterprise ecosystem. Lead the Enterprise Monitoring and Automation team and serve as a member of the leadership group. Serve as an Enterprise SVP‑level Infrastructure Engineer, ensuring high‑availability and performance of monitoring services. Required Experience and Skills 10+ years deploying, administering, and using enterprise monitoring tools such as Prometheus, SolarWinds Orion, and NetScout. Strong working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems. 3+ years developing in Java or Python. 3+ years scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or VB. Solid experience in an Agile environment. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline (advanced degree preferred). 8–10 years of related experience in security or financial services industries is a plus. Additional Qualifications Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proven collaboration across teams. Understanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies.
