Job Description

An Insight Global customer is seeking to hire Assemblers for a new project they've recently been awarded. This group builds structural metal struts/frames/supports for large industrial projects. Day to day this person will be responsible for the assembly of these structural units including reading design drawings, using a tape measure and operating impact drills. A safety-first mindset is critical for this role as pinch points are a potential safety risk. This will be a full-time role on-site in the South Phoenix/Ahwatukee area. The facility is fully indoors with air conditioning. The shift schedule for this role is from 4 AM to 2 PM. This is a six-month contract role with opportunities for extension or conversion. We can offer $21/hr., but exact compensation may vary based on education and experience.

Skills and Requirements

Ability to accurately read design drawings.

Ability to operate impact drills and other mechanical assembly equipment.

Ability to use a tape measurer and quickly measure fractions of an inch.

Ability to lift 40 lbs. Inventory management/material handling experience - one of the roles we're hiring for will require tracking 30+ hardware categories and reporting on inventory metrics.
