Responsibilities Perform advanced airway care including intubation, extubation, and tracheotomy care for infants, pediatric, and adult patients. Proficiency with High Flow (infant, pediatric, adult), BPAP/CPAP, ventilators, and bubble CPAP. Perform electrocardiograms on infants, pediatrics, and adults in various hospital areas (Emergency department, L&D, nursery, ICU, MedSurg, and PMG). Implement cardiopulmonary modalities and protocols for infant, pediatric, and adult patients. Alternate functions in the Pulmonary department (not required) – pulmonary function testing, Holter monitor placement, and cardiac stress testing. Perform departmental specific duties. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (Associates required) Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License, Registered Respiratory Therapist.
