The Breadbasket Manager supports all aspects of our restaurant-style dining experience called the "Bread Basket." This includes ordering, meal preparation, presentation, and the meal service experience.This position offers a full suite of benefits options that vary based on employment status. In times of happiness and sadness, we are that caregiver" - & QualificationsResponsibilities:Occasional mandatory travel required for training and development purposes.Order food, following Bickford's process, in a timely, cost-effective manner.Ensure appropriate information is available to produce meals (i.e., production sheets, recipes, prep/pull sheets, week's extension menus, week-at-a-glance menus).Prepare meals following Bickford's menus, processes, and expectations.Serve food timely, at correct temperatures and appropriately plated.Ensure Bickford's process is followed during meal service.Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience.Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.Utilize residents' Meal Order Information form to follow/track all resident physician ordered diets, allergies, and preferences.Maintain food service records in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bickford's policies.Store food in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bickford's policies.Ensure completion of the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.Ensure the kitchen and dining room meet regulatory requirements and Bickford's expectations for cleanliness.Coordinate with marketing and life enrichment leaders to ensure appropriate food/refreshments are provided for tours and events.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED; one-year related experienceWilling to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.ServSafe, CPR and First Aid certifications requiredA valid driver's license and a driving record that is consistent with Bickford's insurance carrier guidelinesAbility to handle multiple prioritiesPossess written and verbal skills for effective communicationCompetent in organizational and time management skillsDemonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbout Bickford Senior Living:Bickford Senior Living is a community of caregivers who are dedicated to doing whatever it takes to enrich our resident's happiness.
