Patient Population: Adult psychiatric population, including Mental Health, MICA (Mentally Ill Chemically Addicted), and Gero-Psychiatry
Setting: Inpatient adult psychiatry
Responsibilities: Provide inpatient psychiatric care on a 30-bed adult mental health unit shared between 2 psychiatrists; manage patients across specialized units; collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, community-based providers, counselors, therapists, case managers, nurse practitioners, and fellow psychiatrists; provide patient-centered care addressing medical, psychiatric, and social needs

Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends: Shared call rotation 1 weekend on call out of every 6
- Truly Board Eligible OR Board Certified in Psychiatry Required
- New York State Medical License or eligibility Required
- DEA Must be obtained prior to start
- Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report within 30 days Required
- Clean malpractice history Highly preferred
- Visa support requirement must be disclosed
- Candidates with lapsed Board Certification will not be accepted
