Desired Background and Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification in Michigan
• Experience working with K-12 students in school or clinical settings
• Strong understanding of psychological assessments, MTSS/RTI processes, and special education eligibility
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to maintain accurate records and meet state/federal documentation requirements
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
• Develop and implement individualized recommendations and interventions
• Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings as a contributing team member
• Offer crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to foster student success
• Provide consultation regarding behavior management and instructional strategies
• Stay current on best practices and compliance standards within the field
