School Social Worker (MSW, LMSW, LLMSW)

Elementary School | Wayne County, MI | 2025-2026 School Year

Full-Time | 37.5 Hours/Week | W2 with Full Benefits | Open to Local or Travel Candidates

Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking a licensed School Social Worker to support an elementary caseload with a school district in Wayne County, Michigan for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year . This opportunity is ideal for an experienced school-based clinician who values collaboration, structured support, and the ability to make a measurable impact on students' social-emotional and behavioral development.

Location: Wayne County, MI
Setting: Elementary School
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: W2
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 10, 2026

School Social Worker (MSW, LMSW) - Key Responsibilities

Participate as an active member of the IEP team in compliance with IDEA
Conduct social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health evaluations
Contribute to eligibility determinations and case study reports
Provide direct counseling services (individual and group)
Develop and support social skills and evidence-based interventions
Collaborate on Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to strengthen student outcomes
Incorporate cultural, environmental, and socio-economic considerations into evaluations and service planning

Qualifications :

MSW required
LLMSW or LMSW (Michigan)
School Social Worker credential
Prior school-based experience required
