Laboratory Technician (Overnight Role)

Laboratory Technician (3rd Shift)

Location: Gretna, LA

Pay Rate: $19/hr

Duration: 6 months, with possible extension

Shift: 3rd Shift – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday, 10:00 PM–8:30 AM

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field required

Training: Monday–Friday, 7:00 PM–3:30 AM. The schedule will transition to the posted shift after training is completed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer and LC-MS/MS for confirmatory testing.

- Perform testing in accordance with SAMHSA guidelines and other regulatory requirements.

- Perform quality control (QC) activities.

- Work as a First Reviewer.
