Property Manager - Affordable & Low-Income Housing

The Property Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of an affordable housing community, ensuring properties are well maintained, residents are treated with dignity and respect, and all housing policies, regulations, and lease requirements are consistently followed. Responsibilities include managing resident relations, applications and recertifications, rent collection, inspections, maintenance coordination, documentation, compliance, and addressing resident concerns or lease violations in a timely and professional manner.

This position requires someone who can lead with compassion while maintaining a strong backbone. The ideal candidate understands that residents may be facing difficult circumstances and approaches each situation with patience, empathy, and respect-while still being confident enough to establish boundaries, enforce policies, have difficult conversations, and make fair decisions when necessary. The ability to balance understanding with accountability, remain calm under pressure, and treat every resident consistently and fairly is essential to creating a safe, respectful, and successful community.
