Purchasing Assistant II Position: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Required Education: HS Diploma and/or GED Equivalent Benefits: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, 401k Plan Duties - Checking all Purchase Order acknowledgements for any discrepancies in pricing, quantities, shipping location and ship dates.
- Contacting suppliers to ensure Purchase Orders are shipping on correct dates, if they aren't problem solve on a effective and timely solution.
- Inventory Management for hardware only, ensuring software system and in stock product is accurately counted for.
- Releasing Purchase Orders for hardware as needed.
- Helping out accounts payable for Returned Goods and resolving warehouse issues that come up.
- Other duties as required
Requirements: - Hardware knowledge preferred
- Previous experience in purchasing preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Ability to problem solve in a timely manner
- Team player
