PaxeraHealth is now hiring a Senior Accountant to join our Finance  team.  This is an in-office  position and the person will be responsible for multiple functions within the department. We seek a detail-oriented and highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Newton MA. If you're passionate about financial accuracy, process improvement, and thrive in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment—this role is for you!

As a key member of our finance team, you’ll take ownership of a wide range of accounting responsibilities including:

• Leading month-end close activities: journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
  
   
• Consolidating multi-entity and multi-currency financials
  
   
• Managing revenue accounting including deferred revenue and subscription invoicing
  
   
• Preparing and reviewing GAAP-compliant financial statements
  
   
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  
   
• Ensuring accurate balance sheet and bank reconciliations
  
   
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to improve billing and revenue processes
  
   
• Assisting in audit preparation, tax filings, and special projects
  
   
• Mentoring junior team members as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Hands-on QuickBooks Online expertise (required)
• Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business model
• Familiarity with GAAP and multi-currency consolidation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with financial systems
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced  environment

Preffered Skills

• Experience supporting or leading financial audits
• Knowledge of SaaS metrics and revenue recognition standards (ASC 606)
• Prior experience working in a startup or scaling company

Skills and Abilities

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor and proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check.
