Must-Have: Experience working with mental health patients in a locked setting, ability to pass medications using Omni Cell

Description: Beautiful behavioral health unit with experienced staff. Lowest restraint rate in the region. Excellent work environment. Internal medical group to address all medical concerns. Full team of rehabilitation staff for group programming. Social work staff and psychiatrists available on the unit. Patient population consists of adults aged 18 and over with a history of legal issues. Patients are often transitioning to community placement. Common diagnoses include bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, major depression, substance abuse, and chronic medical conditions. Ideal candidates should demonstrate trauma-informed care and compassion. Flexibility and confidence in adjusting to changing patient needs are essential. Candidates should possess the ability to effectively communicate with others. Preferred educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Dress code consists of blue scrubs. Unacceptable attire includes open-toe shoes and provocative or tight clothing.
