Senior Living Wellness Director

Wellness Director (RN/LPN) Location: Assisted Living Community Reports To: Executive Director Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Wellness Director to lead the clinical and wellness services within our assisted living community. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of resident care, ensuring high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture centered on safety, dignity, and holistic care. What You’ll Do Lead daily clinical and wellness operations for the community Ensure timely and accurate completion of resident assessments, care plans, and documentation Oversee all medication management processes, including ordering, administration, reconciliation, and recordkeeping Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise nursing and caregiving team members Respond to resident health concerns and coordinate care with physicians and healthcare providers Manage incident reporting, investigations, fall prevention initiatives, and follow-up actions Maintain compliance with Florida AHCA regulations, OSHA standards, infection control protocols, and resident rights Oversee departmental budgeting, payroll, and staffing efficiencies Serve as a trusted clinical resource for residents and their families Provide on‑call clinical support as needed What You Bring Active Florida RN or LPN license (required) 3–5 years of leadership experience in assisted living, senior living, or healthcare settings Strong knowledge of Florida assisted living regulations and compliance standards Experience with staff supervision, scheduling, payroll, and electronic health records (EHR) systems Current CPR certification Key Skills Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building abilities Ability to balance clinical, operational, and financial responsibilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with EHR and HRIS systems preferred Highly organized, collaborative, and resident‑focused approach Additional Requirements Successful completion of background screening, TB testing, and post‑hire health requirements Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations Availability for on‑call responsibilities #J-18808-Ljbffr Providence Senior Living
