Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students in a dynamic school environment. This full-time, contract position offers a chance to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners within a single site, with a manageable caseload that encourages personal connection and growth.
You'll work with approximately 40-45 students in grades TK-5 over the course of a 160-170 day contract, building strong relationships and crafting individualized interventions that nurture communication skills and academic success.
What we’re seeking:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous school-based experience or familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and collaboration with educators and families
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized therapy plans for students in need of speech and language services
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy interventions to support communication and academic achievement
- Draft, implement, and monitor IEPs, participating in meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide training and resources to educators and families to foster successful carryover of speech-language targets
