Our typical work schedule runs from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life while contributing to the betterment of our community.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop personalized physical therapy plans tailored to meet the specific goals and abilities of each patient, ensuring their unique rehabilitation journey is honored and facilitated.Manage a reasonable caseload, allowing for thorough assessment and treatment of patients, while dedicating quality time to engage with each individual to understand their specific needs.Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, applying advanced techniques and methodologies gleaned from both academic and real-world experience.Implement cost-effective, evidence-based treatment options aimed at enhancing patients' motion, flexibility, strength, and balance.Provide motivational support and education to patients and their families, guiding them towards a healthy lifestyle that promotes physical well-being and independence.Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to optimize integrated care, sharing insights and updates on patient progress.Monitor patient progress continuously and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all therapy sessions, treatments, and patient interactions in line with current best practices using EMR software.Patient Population / Client FocusAt The Guthrie Physical Therapy, our primary focus is on serving a diverse outpatient population, including athletes, post-operative patients, and individuals recovering from injuries. Your role will involve addressing a variety of musculoskeletal issues, chronic pain conditions, and helping patients of all ages achieve their rehabilitation goals.QualificationsMust possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.Hold an active physical therapist license in the state of Florida, ensuring compliance with all local regulations.Exhibit a strong record with no history of sanctions or board proceedings against your license.Showcase expertise in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation exercise programs.Proficient in utilizing EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for data tracking and patient management.Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of industry practices and techniques supported by the latest clinical research.Preferred ExperienceWhile all qualified candidates will be considered, preference will be given to those with a demonstrated background in outpatient orthopedic therapy, athletic rehabilitation, or specialized training in advanced therapeutic interventions.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
