Benefits Salary is negotiable based on experience 401(k) Health Benefits PTO Bonuses Compensation $100,000 - $180,000 yearly Responsibilities Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of cases Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs, analyzing the situation, then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action Keep client files properly organized and up to date Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as needed Qualifications Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations Hard-working team player responsible for all aspects of a client's case, including communicating with clients and other counsel, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing for and attending court hearings, settlement conferences, performing legal research, and preparing for and attending trials DVRO & Trial Experience Required Knowledge of CA Discovery Required A California Bar License in good standing is required High levels of self-esteem, empathy, and compassion Ability to put clients at ease Understanding how clients’ problems are more than legal problems to them Exceptional communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Extremely comfortable with technology (and realize that smartphones might be smarter than us) About Company We represent professionals and business owners to survive divorce with their money in their pockets and their children by their side.
