Senior Software Developer

Our Client is looking for a Senior Software Developer will be responsible for translating technical system specifications into fully functional and tested applications. The consultant will perform hands-on Siebel development, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, reporting, testing and implementation activities.
The successful candidate should be a highly experienced Siebel Developer with strong expertise in Siebel IP18, EIM/EAI, Open UI, Adobe AEM/J2EE integrations, OBIEE and Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed technical and programming specifications.
- Configure, design, develop and maintain Siebel applications.
- Write, modify and test application code.
- Perform unit testing and troubleshoot application issues.
- Develop and maintain Siebel integrations with external applications.
- Support application implementations, conversions and migrations.
- Configure Siebel Business Layer components including Assignment Manager, Business Rules, Workflows, Applets, Views, Screens and scripts/code.
- Develop and customize Siebel Open UI components.
- Configure and support Siebel Migration Application and Approval Manager.
- Develop reports using OBIEE and Power BI.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Must-Have Skills
- 10+ years of experience with Siebel technical configuration, design, development and integration.
- 5+ years of experience integrating Siebel with Adobe AEM, J2EE or similar applications.
- 5+ years of experience with Siebel EIM/EAI.
- 3+ years of experience with Siebel IP18, particularly configuration and development.
- Strong experience with Siebel Assignment Manager, Business Rules, Workflows, Applets, Views, Screens and scripting.
- Experience using Siebel Tools and modifying Siebel Web Templates.
- Experience with Siebel Open UI architecture, including Physical Model, Presentation Model, Manifest files, Mapping files, Open UI classes and methods.
- Experience integrating external applications into Siebel and exposing Siebel functionality to external applications.
- Experience configuring Siebel Migration Application.
- Experience administering Siebel Approval Manager.
- Siebel 8.x or higher certification.
Report Development Skills
- Experience developing reports using OBIEE and Power BI.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
- Strong understanding of Siebel Open UI concepts including PM, PR, Manifest and Mapping files.
Soft Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with functional and technical teams.
- Ability to participate effectively in large multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage aggressive timelines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to develop and present new ideas, approaches and solutions.

Public Sector / Nice-to-Have Experience
- Ontario or broader public-sector experience.
- Experience with Siebel Public Sector CRM.
- Experience with Contracts and Lead Management.
- Experience with Partner Management and Public Sector Partner Portal.
- Experience with Campaign Management and Marketing.
- Experience with Resource Manager and Public Sector eService.
- Experience with Grants Management.
