Location: Hampton, VA 23665

Duration: 1 open 5 Years

Work Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:30 AM4:30 PM

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Provide nursing support for utilization management activities in a military healthcare setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and other healthcare facilities to support patient care.
• Assist with coordinating referral appointments and healthcare services.
• Serve as a point of contact between healthcare staff and beneficiaries regarding plans of action and available healthcare benefits.
• Support patient and family education as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with applicable healthcare policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate appropriate patient care and services.
• Follow Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency, and facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional standards, patient confidentiality, and safety.

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• RN License.
• BLS Certificate.
• Relevant experience in utilization management, care coordination, clinical nursing, or a related healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
