Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of telemetry/step-down experience required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Telemetry/step-down experience required ECG skills required Experience with cardiac drips required Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry care. The role involves caring for patients on a telemetry/step-down unit. Patient ratios are 1:4-5. Every other weekend coverage is required. There is no on-call requirement for this position. Candidates should be prepared to float within their scope as needed. Candidates must be open to working with diverse patient populations. Must have experience in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing cardiac drips. Responsibilities include administering medications and monitoring vital signs. Additional duties include managing central lines, feeding tubes, and IVs. Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac care protocols is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and critical thinking skills. This role supports interdisciplinary teams in providing comprehensive patient care.
