Neuro ICU/IMCU Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Neuro ICU/IMCU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurocritical care, with experience in managing complex neurological conditions.
Unit Information
- Unit Type: Neuro ICU and IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit)
- Patient-to-Nurse Ratios:
- ICU: 1-2 Patients
- Stepdown: 3-4 Patients
- Floating between ICU and stepdown units may be required
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health management and treatment processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in neurocritical care or related specialty.
- Valid nursing license verified through Nursys.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Ability to provide work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days.
- Strong references and completed skills checklist required.
