Accounting AssociateThe Accounting Associate's primary duty is to review daily transactions and communicates discrepancies to management while managing other duties.This is an in office only opportunity in Lake Jackson.The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:Research daily exceptions for anomalies and discrepanciesCommunicate problems and discrepancies to management in a timely and efficient mannerCorrect entry errors as needed and provide feedback to site level bookkeepersAdminister the company purchase card programAdminister company vehicle registrations and the EZ tag programFile all applicable documents in repositoryReview scanned documents for completeness and accurate filingMaintain relationships with internal customersApply working knowledge of the practices, procedures, and principles of auditing to exception auditingMust have the ability to prioritize based on urgencyReception duties such as answering and directing calls, greeting guests in a professional mannerResearch and resolve customer questionsCoordinate pick-up and delivery of mail services which includes but is not limited to US mail and third party carriersProcess, receive, sort and forward mailOrder, receive, stock, and distribute office suppliesIt is an essential function of this job for the employee to work in office/in the employee's assigned work site.
