Compensation: Performance based - Salary bump upon meeting achievable goals. Annual potential: up to $150,000

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven HVAC Operations Manager to lead our service operations in Thornwood, NY . This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing day-to-day HVAC field operations, managing service and install teams, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, profitability, and operational efficiency.

As the HVAC Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our team, streamlining processes, and driving performance standards across service, maintenance, and installation departments.

• Lead and manage HVAC service and installation departments, including technicians, installers, and dispatch staff

• Oversee scheduling, job planning, and daily operations to ensure timely and quality service delivery

• Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate team members to maintain high performance and productivity

• Monitor KPIs and financial performance, drive profitability and process improvements

• Ensure compliance with all safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements

• Handle escalated customer issues and maintain strong client relationships

• Collaborate with sales, dispatch, and administrative staff to ensure smooth workflow

• Develop and implement SOPs to improve efficiency and service quality

• Maintain inventory oversight, fleet management, and tool control

• Stay up to date with industry trends, equipment, codes, and technology

• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in HVAC operations, service, or management

• Proven leadership skills and experience managing HVAC field teams

• Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, codes, and best practices

• Ability to interpret financial reports, manage budgets, and drive KPIs

• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills

• Proficient in ServiceTitan and using the iPad ServiceTitan app

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• HVAC certifications and licenses are a plus
