Thoracic Surgery Opportunity

Seeking BC/BE Thoracic Surgeons to join our team!

Base Salary: $650,000 with productivity incentives. Sign-On Bonus, Relocation Assistance, CME Allowance, Retirement Benefits & Malpractice Coverage. This is an employed opportunity with Baptist Medical Group (a multidisciplinary medical group with over 1,500 employed physicians).

Some notable facts about our TS program:

Established thoracic surgery practice with strong referral relationships, advanced robotic capabilities, and close integration with Baptist Cancer Center
Primary facility: BMH - Memphis (700 bed tertiary referral center for our 26-hospital system)
Advanced robotic surgery program with access to:
- Two da Vinci Xi robotic systems in Memphis
- One da Vinci Xi robotic system in DeSoto
- Approximately 90% of cases performed robotically
No required ED call
Flexible practice schedule featuring 3-4 OR days per week, multidisciplinary clinic participation, and dedicated outpatient clinic time
Established referral base with continued opportunity for growth across the Mid-South region
Dedicated support team including experienced APPs, first assistants, and specialized surgical staff
Work closely with the Baptist Cancer Center and participate in multidisciplinary care alongside medical oncology colleagues
Baptist has a general surgery residency which offers opportunities to teach
Great collaborative and collegial physicians and administrative team
As a not-for-profit system, BMHCC qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
