Executive Pastor / Teaching Pastor Location: The Journey Church NYC (Manhattan) Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive Salary – Full Salary and Benefits Provided Upon Receipt of Application Education: Master's (or Equivalent) Required Schedule: Sunday-Thursday (occasional evenings required) Key Responsibilities Leadership, growth and innovation of The Journey’s semester-based small groups ministry (goal of getting 100% of our church in groups). Leadership of staff and other ministry areas depending on giftedness and experience of candidate (families/kids, finances, volunteers, etc.). Possible leadership of other ministry areas depending on experience / giftedness / abilities of the candidate. Lead teams effectively and raise up new leaders rapidly (organizational and administrative skills required). Contribute to The Journey's teaching team and work well with staff. Qualifications & Skills Extremely hard-working with leadership experience on a large or growing church staff. Strong interpersonal skills; growing leader; team builder; sense of humor; risk-taker. Solid communicator / Positive Attitude / Calling to New York City. Must be willing to relocate to Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens or nearby (within 30 min commute by public transportation). Master’s (or Equivalent) Required.
