Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Oncology Infusion – Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital – Barrington – Part Time Days Where You Will Work Join our Outpatient Oncology Infusion department at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, where you will find a supportive, collaborative and highly engaged team dedicated to safely serving our special patients with compassion, We’re Looking For Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Provide Card/Certificate within 30 days of hire. (preferred upon hire). OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) preferred for oncology departments; CRNI (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion) for non-chemotherapy infusion settings. What You’ll Do As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
