Powder Coater

Job Title

Hours: Monday - Friday, 2:45pm - 12:45am

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00/HR

Duties

• Set up powder-coating equipment and adjust settings for proper application.
• Clean, mask, plug, and fixture metal components prior to coating.
• Apply powder coating to lawn mower and snow blower parts following quality and safety standards.
• Guide coworkers on proper part preparation and handling.
• Operate batch ovens according to work-order specifications.
• Inspect coated parts for coverage, adhesion, and finish quality.
• Perform touch-ups or rework as needed.
• Unmask, unplug, and package components after curing.
• Maintain equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and keep the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of powder-coating or industrial painting experience preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow work instructions.
• Forklift experience a plus (training can be provided).
• Ability to work safely with chemicals, heat, and industrial equipment.
