Area Service Manager

Area Service Manager – Columbus, OH Trane Technologies is looking for an Area Service Manager to lead service repair, upgrades, agreements, and new equipment installations for customers across the region. The role includes P&L responsibility, revenue forecasting, budget control, risk mitigation, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities P&L responsibility, monthly revenue forecasting, and service agreement growth. Budget control for fleet, uniforms, tools, and safety equipment. Risk mitigation for service agreements, turnkey, and repair work. Oversee service coordination; respond efficiently to customers; train and balance technician skill levels. Manage field service coordination, technician recruitment, training, invoicing, and collections. Drive continuous improvement, performance management, and technical product training programs. Ensure environmental, health and safety compliance; provide on‑site safety training. Travel to customer sites, including outdoor work, mechanical rooms, and variable weather conditions. Maintain margin expectations during sales and fulfillment activities. Qualifications 5+ years in HVAC or related technical systems field. 3+ years managing and coaching large teams; organizing work schedules. Project management skills for successful project execution. Tech‑savvy: Microsoft applications; Salesforce experience a plus. Valid driver's license for 12 months with no major traffic violations in the past 3 years. Compensation & Benefits Annual Base Salary: $108,236.66 – $151,479.99. Incentive eligible; sales commission not applicable.
