MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN

The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for executing processes in production at Takeda’s manufacturing facility while strictly adhering to cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines and any other related regulations that apply. The incumbent will fully participate in both departmental projects and any quality working teams which may be applicable. Responsibilities include hands-on execution of all activities in the production area. Work is done under the general direction of the Lead technician and the overall direction of the Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Perform Batch Record, Log Book and Form Prep requests· Enter data in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) , MODA and orother business functions· Troubleshoot and resolve basic process related issues· Recognize and escalate deviation· Review GMP documentation· Sample preparation and testing· Identify changes needed to documentation· Participate in tiered visual management system and support CI initiatives· Complete required training on time· Initiate work orders· Assemble and disassemble process equipment· Perform scheduled cleaning of equipment· Perform standardization of equipment· Support change over activities· Execution of equipment and process qualifications as well as validationCompetenciesEngagingOthers· Takes the initiative to openly express ideas and concerns· Establishes credibility and acts responsibly to earn the confidence, trust and respect ofothers· Recognizes and acknowledges others’ contributions to team successCollaboration · Proactively assists others in accomplishing work· Builds and maintains productive relationships based on mutual trust and respect·

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
