About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission-driven, trauma-informed organization. The CEO will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in partnership with the Board of Directors, fostering a collaborative and high-performing organizational culture, and maintaining a strong, mission-centered presence. This role involves overseeing the creation and implementation of a strategic plan, managing a senior leadership team, and ensuring the organization's financial sustainability through a bold fundraising strategy. The ideal candidate will have significant senior leadership experience, a proven track record in fundraising, and a deep commitment to serving vulnerable populations. Key responsibilities for the CEO include building and executing a fundraising strategy, serving as the organization's chief external fundraiser, and elevating the brand and visibility across various communities. The successful candidate will be a visible, relationship-driven leader, with exceptional communication skills, and will be expected to engage with the media, elected officials, and diverse community stakeholders. Experience in human services, particularly in the areas of domestic violence and housing, is preferred, as is a background in leading an organization through a significant growth phase or capital campaign. The CEO will also be responsible for maintaining transparent and productive communication with the Board of Directors, ensuring fiscal integrity, and fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging within the organization.
