Pediatric BMT/Immunotherapy Research Associate

Overview Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is an independent, nonprofit organization focused on cancer and infectious disease research. Responsibilities The selected individual will participate in a year‑long fellowship program aimed at becoming an expert in pediatric hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) and immunotherapy. The position will rotate through outpatient HCT services (autologous and allogeneic transplant, immunotherapy, long‑term follow‑up/survivorship) and inpatient transplant service, with increasing levels of independent patient care responsibility. About 75% of the year will be devoted to clinical activities, and the remaining time will be available for research projects identified with mentors. University of Washington faculty also engage in teaching, research, and service. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and board eligible/certified in General Pediatrics (or foreign equivalent). Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Washington by anticipated start date. Preferred Qualifications: Interest in pediatric hematopoietic cell transplantation and/or immunotherapy. Completion of fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology (or foreign equivalent). Benefits and Compensation Annual base salary range: $130,000 to $164,986, based on experience and qualifications. Relocation assistance may be available.
