The role involves supporting cardiac surgical procedures within a Level II Trauma, Magnet-designated facility, emphasizing patient-centered care and operational excellence. Job Details Position Description: OR Open Heart RN responsible for assisting in cardiac surgeries such as atrial septal defect repair, coronary artery bypass graft, and mitral valve replacement, utilizing advanced surgical equipment and adhering to safety protocols. Certifications and Education Requirements: BLS, ACLS certifications; valid Alaska RN license (strong preference); minimum one year of clinical experience in an acute hospital setting required. Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts during daytime hours, with a guaranteed minimum of 70 hours every two weeks. Additional Information: Candidates must include all RTO requests during application; travel and references requirements apply. Candidates must be prepared to float within scope to meet facility needs; flexibility with schedule and holidays is necessary.
