CVOR Technician

Unit notes COVID vaccine required! Auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax - you are able to re-add that back in. Need WA license for CVOR tech! Unit CVOR # suites CVOR - 4 # of cases per day 22-45 cases per day total across all three specialties. Cath lab and CVOR are in close proximity to each other. Cath lab nurses will run wires and circulating CVOR nurse would be on standby in case a vascular case goes open. Robotics experience preferred not required. Divinci XI, will do on call robots too and willing to train traveler if they don't have robot experience. Certs/Tech certified RN: BLS, ACLS. Techs: BLS, WA state license, do not require national certification. EMR EPIC, charge nurse charge nurse on every shift covers both main and CVOR. Resource nurse for CVOR OR techs Same experience requirements for techs. Weekend requirement - RN's covered by call time. Weekend requirement - CST's covered by call time. Call requirement - RN's 6-8 call shifts a month for RN's. Monthly schedules. Call starts at 9PM and ends 0630 the next morning. Weekends call 1: 12 hour days, call 2: 12 hour nights, call 3: is 24 hour back up. Weekend call for techs is the same. Call requirement - CST's 8-9 call days for techs. Call starts at 9PM and ends 0630 the next morning. Weekends call 1: 12 hour days, call 2: 12 hour nights, call 3: is 24 hour back up. What is call response time? 30 min Holidays covered by rotation. Scrub color/provided provided tele surgeon on call hours on call after hours. IV team RT 24/7 pharmacy 24/7 shifts Monday through Friday 8's, 10's and 12's. Varied start times, contract dependant. They do allow block scheduling. Floating CVOR could float to main, main OR nurses could for vascular cases if they have experience. Floor specific orientation 1 week. Common types of cases standard cardiac cases, caths, they do utilize robotics for some cardiac and vascular procedures, thoracic cases. Willing to train on robotics. Robotics experience preferred, not required. Scrubbing required - RN's preferred, not required. Additional notes housing can be difficult. Will work with block scheduling.
