Experienced Concrete Finisher – Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our team. Projects include new residential construction, commercial concrete work, and tear-out and replacement jobs. This position involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions and requires a dependable, hardworking individual with strong finishing skills and attention to detail.

We are looking for dependable team members who take pride in producing high-quality concrete work and are willing to contribute wherever needed on the job site.

Pay

• $22-$26 per hour based on experience

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Start time: 6:00 AM until job completion
• 8–10+ hour workdays
• 10-hour days may be required
• Some Saturdays may be required

Responsibilities

• Place, spread, and finish concrete for residential and commercial projects
• Strike off and screed concrete surfaces to proper grade and depth
• Finish concrete by hand and/or with power trowels
• Operate troweling machines, concrete saws, and related tools/equipment
• Perform tear-out and replacement concrete work as needed
• Monitor concrete curing process to ensure quality results
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Follow project specifications and supervisor instructions
• Assist with all laborer duties when required

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher required
• Experience with residential and commercial concrete projects preferred
• Ability to operate power trowels, concrete saws, and finishing equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Good manual dexterity and physical stamina
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of concrete curing and finishing techniques
• Understanding of safety procedures and job site practices
• Ability to read measurements and follow layout instructions
