Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor and Delivery unit, responsible for providing comprehensive maternal and neonatal care during and after childbirth. The role involves ensuring patient safety, supporting labor processes, and maintaining high-quality postpartum care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor laboring patients, tracking vital signs and fetal heart rates.
• Administer medications and perform interventions as prescribed to manage labor and postpartum care.
• Educate patients on birthing procedures, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient status, clinical observations, and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Maintain compliance with licensing, certification, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio RN license at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
• Certified in NRP, BLS, EFM (ACLS and STABLE preferred).
• Demonstrate proficiency in postpartum and neonatal fetal monitoring.
• Capable of floating within the hospital or to affiliate facilities.
• Ability to work night shifts, 12-hour rotations.
