Occupational Therapist, Acute Care, is needed for a travel temporary assignment in a long-term care setting in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Responsibilities
- Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of residents to determine OT needs and functional goals.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans aimed at improving activities of daily living and mobility.
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions, education, and adaptive equipment recommendations to promote independence.
- Document progress notes, treatment plans, and outcomes in the electronic medical record; collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Support discharge planning and coordination with residents, families, and caregivers.
- Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions and monitor progress toward established goals.

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in good standing; state licensure will be verified.
- Degree from an accredited OT program.
- Experience in acute care or long-term care settings preferred.
- Ability to work Monday–Friday and commit to a 13-week travel assignment.
- Strong documentation and communication skills; proficient with electronic medical records.
- Willingness to travel and work in a long-term care setting.
