Assistant Director of Nursing (ADNS)
Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton is seeking an experienced and passionate RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADNS) to join our dynamic care team. As a key member of our management team, the ADNS will assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing services department. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive hourly range of $50-$55. Salaried role.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Services department
- Meet the clinical needs of all residents
- Assist with maintaining, reviewing, and developing clinical policies and procedures
- Ensure that Nursing policies and procedures are followed
- Monitor and review staffing needs, schedules, and work assignments
- Oversee the certification of nursing assistants and track required in-service hours yearly
- Ensure proper medication administration, handling, storage, and auditing
- Participate in surveys and inspections by government agencies and implement plans of correction for deficiencies
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager
Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN or RN in this state
- Minimum of a Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; B.S.N. preferred
- CPR certified
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility

- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
- Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Patience, tact, professional demeanor, and enthusiasm
- Willingness to seek out new methods and principles and incorporate them into existing nursing practices
- Ability to communicate effectively to appropriate personnel regarding emergency situations
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing theory and practice
