Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional abilities, using clinically recognized assessment tools.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Monitor and document patients' progress regularly, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, lifestyle modifications, and self-management techniques to facilitate long-term health.
• Participate actively in clinical teaching by mentoring interns and new therapists, sharing knowledge and supporting professional development within the team.
• Engage in collaborative team meetings to discuss patient care strategies, share insights, and enhance therapeutic approaches based on evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic orthopedic conditions. Your expertise will guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, focusing on their unique needs and goals. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid New York State Physical Therapy license.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with patients and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
