Mortgage Banker

To support a growing team, the remote NMLS Licensed Mortgage Banker will guide borrowers through the home buying process, providing expert advice on loan programs and pricing options while maintaining a strong focus on customer service. Key responsibilities Serve as a trusted consultant to purchase borrowers, addressing their questions and guiding them through the loan selection process Understand borrower needs to recommend optimal loan products and pricing options based on their financial goals and qualifications Establish ongoing relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining knowledge of loan products and regulations Required qualifications Recent mortgage loan origination experience, preferably in a call center environment Experience with purchase loans is preferred Must meet all Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) requirements Strong understanding of mortgage regulatory guidelines Proven negotiation skills and ability to build rapport quickly with clients
