Position Overview The primary focus of this role is to provide a wide range of administrative services for department managers. District Overview Kiewit Power Constructors (KPC) provides direct-hire construction services for Power Generation utilizing a union craft force. Kiewit Power Constructors builds major EPC power plant and solar projects throughout North America. Location The position is based out of Lenexa, KS.

Responsibilities
- Edit and format communications, presentations, proposals and reports
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments, manage calendars, and provide general office support
- Assist with travel itineraries and arrangements
- Process expense reports, invoices and orders
- Serve as a back-up to other office administrative staff
- Perform other administrative duties as required or assigned
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
- At least one year of experience as administrative assistant
- At least one year of meeting and event planning experience
- Highly flexible and able to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
- Be highly organized with exceptional time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, sometimes with minimal guidance
- Requires skills in using computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet navigation, e-mail, and calendars
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn and adapt to new programs and processes
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
- May work at various different locations and conditions may vary.
