A successful Reporting QC Specialist III independently completes stack testing calculations while ensuring data quality and compliance with established standards.The compensation range for this role is $28.00 to $34.00 per hour.To thrive in this role, you'll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:* Writing and assembling documents such as test protocols or test reports using templates, following style guides and SOPs* Citing tolerances for these, e.g. 3A, 7E, 10, RA% using reference methods and applicable standards* Understanding roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and third-party accreditation standards* Perform technical editorial review of draft and final documents for details, grammar, spelling, calculations, results, and conclusions* Reporting QC Specialists III are successful at \"from scratch reporting\" of stack testing programs, and they are knowledgeable about regional tests and regulations* Can independently resolve most anomalies and when encountering new tests, methods, etc. can extrapolate based on previous similar experience* Preparing ERT without an ERT test plan or reference document* Calculating test results using spreadsheets and handwritten forms* Review work of and mentor junior staff* Performing various clerical work where needed* Contribute ideas to the reporting group (RMS/PIP) and support work groups that develop content, standard procedures, and other improvement measures# Your Expertise and SkillsThese requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.* Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision* Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or related field preferred. High School diploma is acceptable where writing/math/other skills can be demonstrated* Ability to identify and investigate anomalies in data, such as inconsistent or suspect results, outlying run results, suspect handwritten data, etc., and escalate to other specialists or managers where necessary* 3+ years technical writing experience* 3+ years of experience with air test methods, permits, and regulatory requirements* Field testing experience is beneficial* Intermediate user of cloud-based platforms (ex. Google Workspace), Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel & Word), and PDF editing software* Capability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening# Work Environment and Physical RequirementsThe physical and environmental requirements below reflect what's typically needed to perform the essential functions of this role safely and effectively.
