Job TitlePosition would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech. US Citizenship/Permanent Resident Required.Responsibilities:Layout work requirements and obtain needed equipment to perform routine repair and alteration operations, inspect weld for bead sized and compliance with other specificationsBlend, grind, or polish weld ensuring specified minimum wall requirement is metWork with Engineering on new R&D projects and working with Redline DrawingsPrototype welding projects will be 50% of the job at timesUse calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges to measure repaired part and ensure dimensional requirements are met. Complete production paperworkUse and interpret complicated prints, drawings, and process sheets to perform a variety of layouts, as well as complete and sign work orders identifying the operations performedPerform standard hand and machine welding operations to fabricate or restore parts and tools where close tolerances are not normally required, and specifically defined criteria are usedBuild up finished machined surfaces and repair simple cracks and other routine imperfections. Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record resultsRecognize need and arrange for repair or replacement of equipment used in performing the work as necessary. Perform routine servicing throughout the assigned area following specified procedures and written instructions such as an operator check list for upkeep and to assure equipment operates properlyAssist others with new process tryout, and other specialized assignmentsQualifications You Must Have:High School Diploma or GED equivalent2+ years of TIG welding experience with stainless steel and Steel welding.Welding Certificate Level 1 Welding (GTAW Stainless Steel), required.Qualifications We Prefer:Manufacturing or aviation industry experienceAssociate's Degree in Welding
