FoxTrot Aviation Services is seeking a results-driven Director based at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. In this role, you will lead Regional Managers and General Managers to ensure operational excellence, drive revenue growth, maintain high safety and quality standards, and cultivate strong customer relationships. 

This position plays a key leadership role in FoxTrot’s growth strategy—bridging executive direction with execution, developing leadership talent, and ensuring the operation consistently performs to FoxTrot’s standards of safety, reliability, and quality .

The Director oversees the combination of Regional Manager I and Regional Manager II, General Manager III and General Manager IV’s who have between 25-60+ location team members and 2-4 service verticals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Strategy

• Provide strategic direction and operational oversight to Regional Managers I and II across assigned airports and markets.
• Translate company objectives into actionable regional goals and performance plans.
• Lead expansion initiatives, new business launches, and customer transitions.
• Partner with ownership and executive leadership to forecast, plan, and execute growth strategies.

2. Safety and Compliance Oversight

• Champion a safety-first culture across all operations.
• Review safety audits, incident reports, and training compliance from all subordinate regions.
• Partner with the Safety and Training Department to implement proactive safety initiatives and ensure alignment with Foxtrot standards. 
• Lead corrective action plans for any operation showing safety or compliance gaps.

3. Operational Excellence

• Ensure consistent execution of FoxTrot standards in quality, service delivery, and efficiency across all assigned locations.
• Evaluate and optimize workforce planning, staffing levels, and scheduling processes.
• Oversee operational audits and ensure adherence to standardized policies, procedures, and checklists.
• Support Regional Managers in resolving complex operational issues and customer escalations.

4. Financial and Business Performance

• Own P&L accountability for assigned location(s)—driving profitability, cost control, and margin improvement.
• Monitor budgets, labor data, and financial performance metrics; develop action plans to address variances.
• Support and evaluate new revenue opportunities, contract renewals, and pricing strategies.
• Ensure forecasting accuracy and alignment with corporate financial goals.

5. Client and Relationship Management

• Build and sustain relationships with key customers.
• Attend customer meetings and business reviews, ensuring FoxTrot’s performance meets or exceeds contractual commitments.
• Act as an escalation point for major service or quality concerns and ensure prompt resolution.
• Identify growth opportunities with existing clients and collaborate on new market opportunities.

6. Leadership Development and People Management

• Coach, mentor, and evaluate Regional Managers and their direct reports to develop strong leadership pipelines.
• Create succession plans and leadership development tracks.
• Foster accountability and alignment through performance management, quarterly reviews, and KPI-based incentives.
• Ensure company culture, values, and expectations are consistently communicated and upheld.

7. Cross-Department Collaboration

• Partner with Safety, Training, HR, and Procurement to align resources, improve processes, and elevate performance.
• Collaborate with Scheduling, Payroll, and Finance teams to streamline administrative accuracy.
• Participate in executive strategy sessions, quarterly planning meetings, and company-wide leadership initiatives.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Safety Performance: Zero major safety violations; full compliance with training and audit standards.
• Operational Consistency: 100% checklist and audit compliance across all regions.
• Financial Performance: Meet or exceed defined revenue, margin, and cash flow targets.
• Customer Retention: Maintain 95%+ customer satisfaction and retention rates.
• Staffing Stability: Achieve targeted staffing minimums and reduce turnover across management layers.
• Growth: Deliver 15–20% annual growth through expansion or contract wins.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Aviation Management, or related field

Experience:

• Minimum 5–10 years of multi-site leadership experience in aviation services, facilities, or operations-intensive industries managing 20+ employees.
• Demonstrated success managing budgets, multi-location teams, and P&L accountability.
• Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and quality standards within aviation or industrial environments.

• Proficient with financial reporting, scheduling tools, and operations software.

Working Conditions

• Base Location: Dallas Fort Worth International Airport
• Flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends as needed for site visits or client meetings.
• On-call availability for escalated operational issues.
