Pay Grade: 15  

Reports To:

Salary: $75,000-$80,000

Executive Sous Chef –  VIP Delta Sky Club | Minneapolis–St. Paul (MSP) Airport

We are seeking a growth minded Executive SousChef for the VIP Delta Sky Club at the MSP Airport

Key Responsibilities:  

• Lead, teach, train  and inspire a high-performing culinary team
• Collaborate with the team and the Executive Chef to design and execute exciting, fresh, and elevated menu items, Chefs Tables and Pop-Up events 
• Support the managment of inventory, purchasing, and food cost controls
• Ensure top-notch food safety and sanitation standards
• Launch new culinary concepts in partnership with marketing
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience—every single day
• Support the Executive Chef with the full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving
• Possess a passion for sustainability

Preferred Qualifications:

• High-volume production and catering expertise
• Strong financial acumen (cost controls + budgeting)
• A passion for innovation, quality, and growth
• Culinary degree preferred
• Must have a working knowledge of HACCP
• Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or restaurants
• Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Experience with exposition cooking needed
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
• ServSafe certified is a plus
